Which personal data we collect, and why we collect it
If visitors write comments on our website, we collect the date that is presented in the comment form, as well as IP-Address of the visitor and User-Agent-String (for identifying the browser), to support the identification of spam.
An anonymous string (also called hash) can be created from your e-mail and given to the Gravatar-service, to check, if you are using it. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.
If you are a registered user and are uploading photos on this website, you should avoid to upload photos with EXIF-FPS-location. Visitors of this website could download photos that are saved on this website and extract their location information.
If visitors use contact forms on this website, we collect the date that is presented in the comment form, as well as IP-Address of the visitor and User-Agent-String (for identifying the browser), to support the identification of spam.
We only use the data of these contact forms to process the contact inquiry to the satisfaction of the visitor. We do not use this data for marketing and we do not give this data to third parties.

We use Google Analytics to analyze the website usage. The collected data will be used to optimize our website and marketing.

During your visit on our website the follow data will be recorded:

- Your IP-Address (in shortened form, so that no exact match is possible)

This data is send to a server of Google located in the USA. Google respects the data protection regulations of the “EU-US Privacy Shield” agreement.
Google Analytics saves cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomized User-ID, with which you can be recognized on future website visits.
The collected data is saved together with the randomized User-ID, which enables the analysis of pseudonymous user profiles. This user data will be automatically deleted after 14 months. Miscellaneous data will be saved indefinitely in aggregated form.
If you are not consent with the collection, you can prevent it through the one time installation of the browser add-on for deactivating Google Analytics.
How long we save your data
A comment will be saved together with its Meta data indefinitely. Through this we can recognize and approve follow up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation line.
For registered users, we also save the personal information stated in the user profile. All users can view, change or delete their personal information at all times (Usernames can not be changed). Administrators of the website can also look up and change this information.
Rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this website or wrote a comment, you can inquire an export of your personal data from us, including all data you sent us. Further more you can inquire deletion of the saved personal data from us. This does not include data, which we have to save because of administrative, legal or safety relevant necessity.
